EAMCET qualifying marks reduced to 25%
Minister N Anjaneyulu said that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to reduce the qualifying marks by 5% from 30% to 25%.

Cheetah captured in Tirupati
A cheetah was captured at Venkateswara colony in Tirupati. The captured cheetah was taken to Sri Venkateswara Zoological Part. The Forest Department has setup cages to capture the beast for over a week as people began to panic whenever the animal creates panic in the area. District Forest Officer said that Krishnayya since the animal is a Schedule 1 animal, the State Officer Hitesh Malhotra was consulted and a written order was to be received as to where the animal is to be taken. He said that generally such animals will be released in a reserve forest.

Former Minister arrested by Maharastra Police
Himayatnagar MLA, TDP member and former Minister C Krishna Yadav was arrested by Pune Police in Hyderabad. He was believed to be involved in a fake stamp papers and currency case. The Pune Police showed the Non-Bailable warrant and with the help of the Himayatnagar police arrested and took him to Maharastra. Cases from over 12 sections of the law were registered. Speaking with the Press, Home Minister Devendar Gowd said that 'total information has yet to come' and that the local police were informed in the afternoon about this.

AP and Karnataka to have dialogue on Tubgabhadra river water
The Andhra Pradesh Water Resources Minister Kadiyam Srihari and his team met his Karnataka counterpart HK Patil at Bangalore. The two Ministers decided to make sure that Tubgabhadra river water is effectively utilized and that Chief Ministers of both the states will sit together more frequently to bring a amicable solution for both the states.
