Chief Minister releases GITEX Information Brochure
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu released an information brochure for the 3rd GITEX to be held in January 2004 in Hyderabad. Mr. Mubarak Dilfaraq of Dubai World Trade Centre was also present at the inauguration program. The Exhibition will be organized by the Government with the support of the Dubai World Trade Centre. The Exhibition will draw attention of top notch IT companies at one place.

Formula One racing for Hyderabad shortly
Speaking with the press, CM said that he will be visiting to Italy to finalize the Formula One racing circuit and bring Motor sporting events to Hyderabad. He will be witnessing the Italian Grand Prix at Milan in Italy on September 13 and 14, 2003. He said that many foreign engineering companies were coming forward to create townships in the city outskirts. He said that with the new already introduced Multi Modal Transport System (MMTS) and the upcoming Metro Railway will bring more satellite townships in the region. Over 75,000 people, he said, will get direct and indirect employment. He said that the Government is committed to improve Trade and Tourism and that a white paper on this will be released

Asian Junior Table Tennis Championships
The India Team won 3-0 over Hong Kong in the Men's category at the Asian Junior Table Tennis Championships that are on way in Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Indian Women lost to Korea 0-3. Japan beat Hong Kong 3-0. The Indian Men's team lost to Chinese Taipet 103 in the quarterfinals.

BJP begins state wide meet at Nalgoda
BJP President Mr. M Venkiah Naidu asked the party supporters to tour villages for 7 days and interact with the people and get to know of their people. He asked the party supporters to go from house to house in urban area. He inaugurated a State wide meet of the party that began today in Nalgonda. He said that some political parties are diverting people for their own goals.

BJP State Unit President Mr N Indrasena Reddy said that special police force in similar lines to grey hounds should be established to tackle militants. Senior members of the Party including Union Ministers Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Bandaru Dattatreya, Krishnam Raju and others were present.

CM inaugurates investment awareness meet
Chief Minister Mr N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a security investors awareness meet in Hyderabad. The meet, organized by the Stock Exchange Board of India (SEBI) was intended to create confidence among the people about the investments.
