Congress demands removal of Rama Subbareddy from cabinet The Congress party demanded the withdrawal of Rama Subbareddy from the cabinet or asked for the resignation of the Chief Minister. CLP Leader says Speaker is biased CLP Leader Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said his team members have attempted to bring the issues to the discussions in the Assembly but were often misled by the Government. Simhadri power units begins power generation The two units at the Simhadri Thermal Project began power generation. The units will generate upto 20 million units of power per day. The total installed capacity of the unit is 1000 MW per day. Joint Managing Director of APTransco K Durga Prasad announced that of the 140 million units that was coming out from the grid, 40 million units were earmarked for the farming sector. |
