Holidays announced for SVU Arts & Science Colleges
The Management of Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati announced holiday to the Arts and Science Colleges in the wake of tension in the campus. Police arrested some college students who were involved in creating tension in the campus and throwing stones at the Police yesterday. They verified the student hostels. With holidays announced, many students began leaving the hostels and going to their home place. Local political parties came to convince the students but was of no use.
Mr. Naidu visits Israel - Meets top business units - hosts dinner The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N Chandrababu and his 19-member delegation team visited Tel Aviv in Israel after completing tour in Italy. He met delegates from Tahal Group and discussed on water management projects. Congress delegation submits memorandum to Governor A delegation of Senior Congress Leaders including PCC President D Srinivas, CLP Leader Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Youth Congress President and others met Governor Surjeet Singh Barnala at Raj Bhawan today. He said that when the situation is this hot, Chief Minister was in foreign counties trying to bring car races to the state. PCC President Srinivas said that Hyderabad has become a home for many terrorist activities and this is evident from the recent cases where suspects in the Mumbai bomb blast took shelter in the twin cities and that fake passports racket was unearthed. The Youth Congress is going to organize a demonstration and Chalo Assembly on September 22. 8 injured in a small bus accident in Hyderabad 8 school going children were injured when a school bus of Little Stars Schools over tuned near Journalist colony in Hyderabad. The inappropriate driving by the diver of the school bus was found to be the reason for the accident.
