More mines unearthed at Alipiri
Tirupati, October 2, 2003

Bomb Squad bringing a defused landmine planed in the area The Special Police teams and bomb diffusion squads that arrived at the spot where the CM was attacked by PWG at Alipiri came out with a surprising news that more mines were still lying in the area.

As many as 8 more claymore mines were unearthed from the area and were defused. These mines are more powerful than those that were blasted yesterday. Each of the mines were strategically planted so that if CM escapes from one of then, another could have been blasted.
