Hyderabad, October 3, 2003

The State Government decided to dig more details about the attack on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu recently. Home Minister Devendar Goud announced that the Government has decided to transfer of District Collector of Chitoor, DIG of Anantapur and suspended SP of Chitoor and the Regional Inspector of bomb disposal.

Former Uttar Pradesh DGP Prakash Singh was appointed as the Commissioner of Enquiry commission that will look into the whole episode. Mr. Singh will completely look into all aspects and submits its report in 2 months time.
