Government to recheck admission process
The Government has decided to recheck the admission process of the recent Medical admissions. He said that an enquiry will be made to check this. Health Minister Mr. Kodela Sivaprasada Rao organized a meeting with representatives of various private medical colleges. He said that B-category college admissions have charged more than the fixed fees of Rs. 2 lakh. He said that reports that even the reservation system was not followed have come.

Minister Kodela said that the Government will be asking Supreme Court asking for some more time to finalize the admission process. He said that the Government will recheck the admissions process once again. Representatives from NTR Health University also participated. It may be recalled that the Supreme Court has set 30th September as the last date for the medical admissions.
CM begins his work from his office
Chief Minister began his official works from today. He began attending and meeting with friends from his party, Ministers and the general public from his house.

He asked the authorities for a good plan for the upcoming Rabi season and directed them to help the farmers in the state. He said that Agricultural Research Centers have to be established in all the districts in the state. He said that he will speak on a video conference on 10th October with district-level authorities.

Agriculture Minister Vadde Sobhanadreswara Rao, Ministers K Subba Raidu and Nagam Janardhan, Secretary Mohan Kanda and others officials were at the meeting.

Chief Minister waves his hand from his house at hundreds of people who came to wish him. Senior TDP Member Umma reddy Venkateswara said that his (CM) activities will be limited at the time being. He said that thousands of students from local schools came to meet him.
Dr Kakarla says CM can gradually begin his work
Director of NIMS Dr Kakarla Subba Rao said that Chief Minister still requires some rest and can gradually start his work activities. He organized a press conference. His team of doctors also spoke at the press conference. Dr Kakarla said the health condition of Bojjala is good and he is recovering.
Warning Level 3 raised in Andhra coast
No 3 warning is already raised and the Metro Department already alerted the fishers not to go into sea. JVM Naidu, Director of Materological Station at Visakhapatnam said that the cyclone is centered at about 150 kms from the shore. Medium to Heavy rains with 45 to 50 Kms winds are sweeping the Coastal regions already.
Visakha Ustav from December 22
The annual festival of Visakhapatnam - Visakha Utsav will be organized from December 22 to 25 in Visakhapatnam. This is announced by Tourism Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav in Visakhapatnam today. He said that Forest Ministry has helped in development of Bheemunipatnam. Visakhapatnam District Collector Sunil Sharma was spoke at the press conference.

Visakhapatnam is the host for the National Beach Kabbadi competitions to be held from November 5-9, 2003. Teams from Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Maharastra and Karnataka will be taking part in the competitions in Men and Women disciplines.
