Nalgonda ZP Chairperson dies in accident

Venkiah Naidu not to comepete in next Lok Sabha elections
BJP President Venkiah Naidu said that he will not be taking part in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that this decision was reached recently. He spoke with the press at Circuit House in Visakhapatnam.

Mr. Naidu expressed confidance that the party will win in all all areas other than Mijoram in the upcomign elections He said that the state chintan bhaitak will be held to disucss about party exansion and vision 2004 and will sit down with all state level leaders. The meeting will be held on 9th and 10th of this month. He said that he himself will also be attending on one of the days.
Former DGP to begin enquiry on attack on CM shortly
Former DGP of Uttar Pradesh and BSF Mr. Prakash Singh said that he will begin his work in 2 or 3 days time. He said that he is awaiting for a written order from the state of Government.

He spoke with private various private television channels from New Delhi. Speaking on the problem with Naxals, he said that situation the Government has to be understood well. He said that it is surprising to note that even grey hounds finds it problamatic to deal with the issue. He reminded that Naxal problem cannot be solved with just police action.

Mr. Prakash Singh's name was announced yesterday by Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Sri Devendar Gowd who said that he will be investigating into the issue of Naxals attack on Chief Minister at Tirupati
Karnataka CM meets Andhra counterpart
Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. SM Krishna called on Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr N Chandrababu Naidu today. He was welcomed by Tourism Minister Talaksani Krishnayadav and Minister for Irrigation Kadiyan Srihari at the airport.

Mr. Krishna said that more co-ordination between states be there and that efforts with reference to terrorism should be shared. He expressed solidarity with the people and Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Krishna later met Chief Minister Mr. Naidu and asked about his health condition. Mr. Krishna is expected to go to Mysore where he will be taking part in Dushera Celebrations at the Mysore Palace.
Haryana CM meets Chandrababu Naidu
Chief Minister of Haryana Mr. Om Prakash Chautalaa met Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu and asked about the latter's health condition. He said that he is in a rural village when the incident happened said that he immediately inquired about the health condition of CM on phone.

He said that he shares the sentiments of the state
