CM asks Naxals to join mainstream
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu, speaking at the parade at the Police Martyrs Memorial in Hyderabad asked the Naxalites to join the main stream. He said that the Government will not tolerate any kind of violence. Home Minister T Devendar Goud, DGP SR Sukumara and other Police officials were present at the meet. It may be recalled that the Chief Minister himself escaped narrowly after Naxlas attacked him at Tirupati on October 1.
Krishna Yadav remand extended
The Pune Court has extended the judicial remand of Himayatnagar MLA C Krishna Yadav till November 4. Mr. Yadav is presently in Yerwada Central Prison. It may be recalled that Mr. Yadav was arrested on September 6, 2003 by the Maharastra Police in regard to fake stamp papers case. The Telugu Desam Party with whose ticket, Mr. Yadav became MLA suspended him on September 21,2003.
