Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a 1600 bedded, 28 operation theater - the Gandhi Hospital today. Health Minister Mr. Kodela Sivaprasada Rao said that the Government has taken up the project and will maintain the hospital as per International levels. He said that additional funds would be required for completing the remaining works of the hospitals. Some Medicos demanded for sporting facilities that irked the Chief Minister.
Telangana Congress Forum members returned from Delhi after meeting with AICC members. Chenna Reddy of the Forum said that AICC was positive towards Telangana state and that AICC has signaled that it has interest in formation of small states. The forum members had a warm welcome from supporters at the Begumpet Airport.
