Greyhounds Squad SI killed in encounter

A Reserve Sub Inspector of the Greyhounds squad of the State Police was Mr. R Rajasekhar Reddy was killed in an encounter with Naxals of People's War Group near Andhra-Orissa border.

Two ISI activists held

Two suspected agents of ISI were held by Nalgonda policeat Tarngeda village in the neighborhood of Guntur. The held activists will be put before Nalgonda court on May 9.

Mohit Sen is no more

Mohit Sen - Communist and General Secretary - Communist Party of India died at 74. Politicians and Friends paid homage to Sri Sen.

Bar Council to institute training program

Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh will be conducting a training program to young law graduates. The program will be organized at Bhagavaripuram near Hyderabad - Srisailam road from May 5 to 7. Eminent personalities from Law, expert faculties from NALSAR, Senior Advocates will be delivering lectures.

Gang exchanging fake currency notes held

Eight persons were arrested by Karimnagar Rural Police when the police held them with over Rs. 20,000 in fake currency notes.
