Karnataka playing water politics - says Minister
Major Irrigation Minister Mr. Kadiyam Srihari said that Karnataka is playing water politics and is not allowing Andhra Pradesh to get its rightful share of water. He said that the Government will call for an all-party meeting to decide on how to react to Karnataka's step.
Four of a family killed by rivals
Four members of a family who has close links with TDP MLA Mr. Paritala Ravi were sacked to death by his rivals Anantapur. Among those who were dead included a TDP MPTC Member. The attackers used sharp knives and bombs for their attack.
Visakhapatnam Steel Plant introduces online testing facility
Visakhapatnam Steel Plant(VSP) installed an Online Test Certificate System that allows issuing test certificates faster. CMD and Managing Director Mr. B K Panda said that this is a major drive in technologically upgrading the plant.

LAWCET 2003 Results released
LAWCET 2003 - the entrance test to 3 and 5 year law degree courses in Andhra Pradesh was released by Sri Subba Rao, Convener, LAWCET 2003 at a program held at Sri Padmavathi Mahila University, Tirupati. Of the 9847 candidates who appeared for the 3-year test, 7572 passed the exam. Of the 2412 who appeared for the 5-year course exam, 2072 qualified.
