Tirupati Mahanadu concludes

The three-day Mahanadu program concluded today making the Tirupati declaration. Hyderabad was chosen as the venue for the next Mahanadu to be held next year.

BJP State Units meet begins

The Two-day BJP State Units meeting began in Hyderabad. Dy. Prime Minister Mr. L K Advani, BJP President Mr. Venkiah Naidu, BJP State Party President Mr. Chilakam Ramachandra Rao and others were present at the meeting.

CLP Leader's Praja Prasthanam enters Visakhapatnam

CLP Leader Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy's Praja Prasthanam entered into Visakhapatnam. He was warmly welcomed by City Congress leaders. He visited Gannavaram at around 5:20. With many people coming to meet YSR, traffic at the village went out of control for a while. He walked till Narasipatnam.

Second Phase of AP Netherlands Biotechnology Project soon

Chairman of AP Netherlands Biotechnology Project Mr. MV Rao said that the Second Phase of the project will begin soon. He laid that foundation stone for AP Netherlands Biotechnology center at Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University. Vice Chancellor of the University IV Subba Rao said that the University has tied up with many foreign and Central institutions in the field of Biotechnology.

6 persons including 2 children died near Singarayakonda in Prakasam district. The family members were traveling in a Autorickshaw when a lorry hit them. 5 people were injured and were rushed to Ongole Government Hospital.
