Naxals of People's War Group created havoc killing TDP Leader Mr. Saigam Basareddy at Rayachoti mandal in Cuddapah. Olive green dressed naxals left a leaflet stating that they killed Basareddy for harassing local agricultural farmers in the region. They earlier destroyed furniture in the house. They took away bags of food grains and ground nut from the house.

Naxals also killed a Congress activist Mr. Sri Ram Reddy at Achampet in Guntur believing him to be a police informer.

CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy was asked to take rest for 4 days by Doctors as his condition was still not normal. APCC Secretary Sri Rosayya who met him today asked YSR to take rest for some more time. Meanwhile, All India Congress Party President Ms. Sonia Gandhi wished that CLP Leader Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy will recover back to normal health condition. She halted at Visakhapatnam Airport for a short while. She was received by APCC Secretary Sri Rosayya at the Airport.

Union Minister Ch Vidyasagar Rao gave loans sanctioned to farmers by State Bank of Hyderabad, Medpalle Branch. The Minister asked farmers to make effective utilization of loan amount. Local Legislatures and Scientists from Jegityala Agricultural Research Center were present at the meeting.

K P C Gandhi, Director of Forensic Science Laboratory, Hyderabad said that it is analyzing and decoding information from the recovered Hard Disk Drives possibly used by ISI agents using the Internet as a communication medium. The Lab is expected to give its report to the CBI in a week days time.
