CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy was in Narsampet, Warngal as a part of his state-wide tour-on-foot today. He inaugurated a health camp at Nallabilli. He was informed of not given pensions in Ramathirtham for which the leader felt for a need for a modification of the pensioning scheme. He said that Deepam program was of now meaningful use unless Gas cylinder costs was not reduced. Some TRS members joined Congress when they were convinced with YSR's speech.
A non-bailable arrest warrant was given on Police Commissioner of Vijayawada Mr. NV Surendra Babu and 4 others in regard to a custodial death case
Financial transactions in almost all Banks in the state came to a stand still stopped when three leading Unions of the Bank - NOBO, AIBOA and AIBOC went discussions between the Union representatives and Government did not come with a formidable solution.
Mr. Y Bhanupraksh Reddy of Nellore became the first from Andhra Pradesh to have been selected for IAS from Telugu medium. Mr. Reddy stood first from Andhra Pradesh and stands at 9th in National level list of IAS recently qualified recently. Mr. Reddy's continued determination and efforts despite having failed in Interviews twice.
