YSR's Paadayatra suspended for a day

CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's Paadayatra program was suspended for yet another day as his health condition wasn't to normal levels. Dr YSR was treated with medicines for fluctuating and low BP besides loose motions at a camp near Rajahmundry. Meanwhile, a team of members from the Congress were coming to Rajahmundry to meet the CLP Leader.

CM says TDP Govt. is ready for comparision with any other Congress-led Govt.

Chief Minister and TDP Party Leader Mr. N Chandra Babu Naidu said that his party is ready for a comparison of development in our state with that of Congress-led states. He spoke with Party members at a meeting at NTR Trust Bhawan. He said that TDP was successful in fighting against many problems including resisting the comments from Congress, fighting drought and getting funds from the center. He inaugurated a review program to make final preparations for the Mahanadu program to be held in Tirupati. The 2-day program that began at NTR Trust Bhawan in Hyderabad was picking points to be discussed at the Mahanadu program.

Bundhs no solution to solve people's problems - says CM

TDP Party Leader Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the bundhs being called by various groups particularly of Congress and the Left Parties were of no use to the people. He said that TDP was against the bundh called by the Left Parties on 21st of May. He said that people are already facing many difficulties and these bundhs cause more trouble for them. He questioned what the left parties achieved from blocking office staff entering into collectorates in various districts.

Left Parties says Bundh is essential

Left Parties jointly in a statement today said that they will be going ahead with the bundh to bring the feelings of people in regard to the Government's quietness at attending drought problems. BV Raghavulu said that this bundh is a question to the Government as to how it is going to source funds for various water projects. He said that this bundh is an essential to tell the Government about the seriousness of the need of water to the people.

AirTel has big plans on Andhra Pradesh

Bharati Mobile - the owner of AirTel - a leading Mobile Phone Services in Andhra Pradesh announced an investment of Rs. 137 Crores over the next 4 months to expand its coverage area in the state. Mr. Sunil Bharati Mittal, Chairman and MD of Bharati Enterprises said that this will take AirTel reach to 215 towns and 6100 villages in the state.

Ambedkar Open University launches Ph.D in Open Distance Education

Prof. G Ram Reddy Research Academy of Distance Education of Dr. B R Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad released GRADE's publications at a program held in Hyderabad. The Academy also launched a Ph.D research program in Open Distance Education.
