APCOB invites proposals

Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Bank Limited (APCOB) said that it is inviting proposals from Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) in the state for the implementation of various schemes. This was stated by APCOB Chairman Mr. TD Janardhan Rao.

NTPC Simhadri trips - Three Coastal Andhra districts in darkness

North Coastal Andhra was in darkness in the early hours of the day with Generators at the NTPC Sinhadri Power Project in Parawada, Visakhapatnam tripped. Eastern Power Distribution Corporation Limited SE Mr. V Gandhi Babu said that a trip at Spectrum Power in Kakinada led to lack of power in the region for some time. Trains to and fro from Visakhapatnam were delayed as a result. Operations at the Hindustan Ship Yard came to a stand stiff for a small period.
