Chief Minister and TDP Party Leader Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu asked Political parties not to make religious centers as political centers.
Home Minister Devendar Goud said that the Government has no objection for talks with People's War Group and that the Government is always trying to get peaceful environment for people to live in. He said that any cases on naxals will be lifted if they surrendered. As many as 18 War Naxals surrendered before the Minister and DGP Pervaram Ramulu. Many of the surrendered worked as Members and Leaders in the War group at Warangal, Adilabad and Visakhapatnam. A cash reward of Rs. 5000 was given to them.
Two naxals died in shootout between the Police and Janashakthi forces at Chandurthy mandal today. Sardar - Leader of the group absconded. A revolver was recovered from the spot.
Hundereds of Women demonstrators of AIDWA were arrested today in various parts of the state when they tried to enter into food godowns. Police who were deployed well in advance anticipating the activity.
Chief Minister said that the parties who were against Women Reservations Bill will have no future. He said that gas connections will be provided to women living in urban centers. He, along with Union Minister Sri Bandaru Dattatreya inaugurated an exhibition at Kukatpalle which has put products developed by women on display. He said that DWACRA program will be implemented in all municipalities in the state.
Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud visited the patients who were admitted hospital after suffering from injuries in yesterdays fake bomb alert at a program held in NTR Groups. He said that an enquiry into the entire episode was called upon.
Chief Minister ended his visit to Cuddapah today. In his concluding day, he visit various mandals in Rayachoti and interacted with people there. He saw the severity of drought in the area. Later he visited a local school. Speaking with the Committee Chair person, he highlighted the importance on teaching on the benefits of water sheds to farmers.
Panchayat Raj Minister Sri Nagam Janardhan Reddy said that pending fluoride projects will be completed at the earlier. He said that problems with tenders has caused delay in some areas.
Governor of Orissa, Mr. Rajendran visited Hyderabad today. He visited the ETV Earth Station and prized the organization for its usage of best electronic media practices. He interacted with the group chairman Mr. Ramoji Rao.
Global Hospitals of Hyderabad announced the completion of the first kidney transplant experiment to a patient based in Nashik in Maharastra. The transplant operation was conducted by taking liver from a women's body who donated her kidney. Medical Experts from King's College in London monitored the operation activity.
