Devotee offers Golden Crown to Goddess Padmavati

A devotee offered a golden crown worth Rs. 8.25 lakh to Goddess Padmavati of Tirupati. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam said that American diamonds were embedded on it. They said that identity of the devotee was kept under wraps.

AP former MLAs demand hike in pensions

The AP former MLAs Forum demanded that the Government hike pensions for ex-MLAs on a par with other states. The Forum convener, K. Subba Raju said that the pensions provided to former MLAs was very much less compared with other states including Jammu & Kashmir and Mizoram.
