Ministers Mrs. Mani Kumari, Vijaya Ramarao and local MLA's visited Government Hostel for Dumb at Malakpet in Hyderabad. The Ministers were informed that a former student of the Hostel Mr. Chandrasekhar was responsible for coming with a gang and tried to harass the girls in the hostel. Of the 256 students in the hostel, 127 are girls. Minister Vijaya Ramarao said that the hostels will be separated and that Police will be deployed in the area.

A camp organized by Department of Health was held in Guntur to create awareness on the dangers of getting married at a small age. Members from various voluntary organizations also took part in the awareness campaign.

An Empty Gas Container fell off the road near Chandragiri in Tirupati. The cleaner died on the spot while the driver sustained with injuries.

A Workshop on Heart Problems was organized at MGM Hospitals in Guntur. Renowned Doctor in the field of Hear care Dr J Florance from America spoke on the occasion. Dr Flourance said that lives can be saved if people are made aware of what care is to be taken in case of an early hear attack. Doctors and Paramedics keenly listened to the speech.
