PCC Fact Finding Committee to investigate Vaddepalle's case

PCC President Mr M Satyanarayana Rao said that Police took action on Vaddepalle Narasinga Rao as a hasty step. He said that a fact finding committee will be instituted to collect evidence in regard to the case. Mr. Vaddepalle said the ruling party has filed case intentionally.

46 Prisoners to be released on June 10

Home Minister Sri Devendar Gowd said that 46 prisoners will be released on June 10 for their positive conduct. He said that these prisoners will get the same punishment if they commit any crime.

Chitoor TDP presents Mahanadu accounts

Chitoor District TDP Leaders presented accounts of the recently concluded TDP Mahanadu in Tirupathi. Every paisa spent was accounted for the leaders said. They said that the part evidence of Congress-led Government to have used Official machinery during the Tirupati Congress Plenary Meetings held in 1991. Karimangar Zone meeting of APSRTC was held today. The Meet decided to take complete details of persons who hire RTC Busess. This decision was taken after extensive discussion on the recent usage of RTC busses by Naxals to blast a Police Station. Officials from Adilabad, Warangal, Khammam, Nizamabad and Karimnagar took part in the meeting.

New Dress Code at Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala

The Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala decided to implement a dress code to devotees who visit the holy shrine. As per the new code, women are expected to ware the traditional Saree or Chudidar while Men can ware Dhoti or Panche.This new rule is also expected to put security problems on hold. This rule is earlier applicable only for Purabhisekharm and Kalyanam and is now extended to Archana and Tomalaseva Services at the temple.

Counseling Sessions at Siddardha Medical College came to a stand still with Senior PG Students blocking the counseling program demanding justice to Reserve and Non-Local Category candidates. The College replied that there is no need of allocation for reserve category. The Counseling was postponed to a later date finally.

A fire accident near Nerlimarla in Vizianagaram claimed the life of a women and left over 400 huts to ashes.
Tourism Minister Sri T Srinivasa Yadav said that the South India Tourism Departments meet will be held in Hyderabad June 5. Five states in South India will be coming to discuss promoting tourism in the region. Discussions on the introduction of a Heritage train, formation of Tourism circuit and relaxation of Tourist vehicle rules amongst the states are expected to points to be discussed in the meet.
