One dies in police firing at Chevella

One person - Mr. Yellayya - died when police restored to firing at Chevella in Rangareddy. 30 more were injured. Police earlier restored to lathi charge when over 2000 farmers from 3 mandals came to a single counter set up for the distribution of seeds under subsidy. Tension prevailed in the region. The farmers staged a dharna opposite the police station. To clear up the crowd before the police, the Police earlier restored to lathi charge.
