TDP Anantapur Unit to organize protest against Patagodu Project

The Telugu Desam Party's Anantapur District Unit announced that it will be protesting at the Patagodu Project site near the banks of River Chitravarthi. Anantapur TDP Leader along with Animal Husbandry Minister Mr. N Kistappa met Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu to take his permission in Hyderabad.

Lakshmi Parvathi continues as NTR-TDP President

The NTR-Telugu Desam Party will continue with Ms. Lakshmi Parvathi as its party president. The State Executive Committee was also formed.

Rs. 95 Crores for Railway projects in Telengana Region

Union Minister of State for Railways Bandaru Dattatreya said that the Union Government as allocated Rs.95 Crores for development of Railway network in Telengana Region. He said that Secunderabad-Vijayawada, Secunderabad-Bikaner, Secunderabad-Gauhati and Vijayawada-Mumbai Trains will be shortly introduced.

Naxals of the People's War Group blasted Chigicherla Railway Station situated 20 kms from Anantapur by planting explosives. The blast was a representation of their pretoest against Rayachoti encounter last month.
A Villager - P Bhaskar Rao - husband of the local Surpanch was killed the CPI-ML Janashakti group for acting as a Police informer in Karimnagar.
