Santha Sinha gets Ramon Magasasay Award 2003

Social Worker Mrs. Santha Sinha has been selected for Raman Magasasay Award for the year 2003 for her contributions in social welfare. Mrs. Sinha has been working to send child labourers to go to school. Mrs. Sinha was awarded the prestegious award for Community Leadership for her contributions in ending the scourage of child labor.

Along with Mrs. Sinha, others who won the Award are James Micheal Lyngdoh (for Governent Services), Dr. Gao Yaojie (for Public Services), Sheila Coronel (Journalism, Literature and Creative Communication Arts), Dr. Tetsu Nakamura (Peace and International Understanding), Seiei Toyama (Peace and International Understanding) and Anicento Guterres Lopes (Emergent Leadership)
