Osmania University ECE to establish network with four other Engineering colleges

The Electronic and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department of the Osmania University Engineering College will be joining with four other South Indian Engineering Colleges by the year-end by establishing a network with them. This became possible with the Rs. 4 Crores Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

The other colleges are Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore), Karnataka Regional Engineering College (Surathkal), College of Engineering (Thiruvananthapuram) and PSG College of Technology (Coimbatore).

Prof DN Reddy, Principal of OU Engineering College said that this is an experimental project and once if this succeeds, the network will be extended to other Departments in major Engineering colleges round the country.
