Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the Punnami Valley Resort and Tribal Arts & Crafts Center at Araku Valley in Visakhapatnam. The Punnami Valley Resorts were constructed at a cost of Rs. 400 Lakhs and has 40 delux rooms and 12 suites in ten cottages. The Tribal Center is built at a cost of Rs. 40 lakhs to promote tribal art. He said that time has come for the tribals to get returns for their produce.
CM's car had a problem with types on his way back to the city. The driver of the car tactfully has brought the car to a stop. CM later went in another car. He is actually scheduled to go by helicopter but was cancelled due to bad weather. However, CM's visist to Paderu tribal area was cancelled due to heavy rains in the area.
