Disclosing this to media men in an informal press briefing Mr. J.N.Patel, Managing Director of Patel & Co informed that Ajanta, the famous clock manufacturer is foraying into Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Sector in line with its corporate philosophy of reaching every Indian home. The vision of the company is to provide Health for All. Keeping this in mind , Ajanta through its separate division embarked on products that are unbelievably economical and truly natural, he informed.
The highlight of these products is ‘100% Vegetarian Toothpaste’. Approved by London, U.K. based Vegetarian Society, which is said to be in the forefront of Vegetarian Campaigning for over 150 years, these come in 50, 100 and 200gms packs and are priced economically at Rs 6/-, Rs 10/- and Rs 18/- respectively. These Vegetarian Toothpaste are expected to be received very well by the consumers as more and more people all over the world are turning vegetarian . As an initial promotional offer, tooth brush offered free along with every Dento care toothpaste purchased.
Similarly, the 85gm shaving cream is offered at Rs 18/-, 60ml hair oil at Rs 9/-, 60ml shampoo at Rs 12/-. The toilet soaps are made available in three fragrances: Lime, Jasmine and Floral and priced at Rs 12/- for 100gms soap.
All Ajanta Health products contain 100% natural flavors. The toothpastes are based on natural flavor and Dento White contains Calcium, Glycerine and Dento Care Dicalcium Phosphate, Glycerine. Where as Shampoos, Hair Oil, Shaving Cream and Toilet Soaps have natural ingredients like Amla, Ritha, Shikakai, Aloe Vera, Brahmi, Bhringraj, Lime, Tiloil, Coconut oil etc., the traditional Indian herbs and plants used in Indian homes over many centuries.
