Candian President visits Hyderabad
President of Canada Mr. Kill Gore visited Hyderabad today. He spoke to various industrialists in the state. Canada expressed its interest in investments in IT and Bio-technology fields.

The State Youth Festival celebrations began at Hyderabad today. The event is being organised by the Directorate of Youth Services, State Government of Andhra Pradesh. More than 300 participants took part in this 2 day event. Dr. C Narayana Reddy took part in the event as the Chief Guest.

American Doctor Mr. Sarad Kumar Dickshit began his free plastic surgery camp at CDR Hospital in Visakhapatnam. Scanning for various patients is done today and the operations will begin tomorrow. A target of 500 operations to be completed in 2 days is set.

The All India Ball Badminton Tournament began in Andhra University today. Players from 50 Universities are participating in this 4 day event. The Physical Department of Andhra University is organising the tournament.

Asia Social Forum meets concludes
The Asia Social Forum meet that was being held in Hyderabad concluded today. It may be recalled the meet began on 3 January 2003 with representatives from all over Asia to discuss on various social problems faced by the people. At the conclusion day, former Indian President Mr. KR Narayana took part along with his wife.

State BJP Leader, Mr. Chilakam Ramchandra Reddy said that all agricultural fields in state should be provided with water. He referred to Nalgonda were farmers are having a tough time getting water.

MSR to quit from politics next year
APCC President Mr. M Satyanarayana Rao said that he will end his political life later next year. He said that his political experience will reach a milestone of 50 years next year.
