All set for CII's Partnership Summit 2003
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence in getting more investments to the state from the Partnership Summit that will begin in Hyderabad tomorrow. Deputy Prime Minister Mr. L K Advani will be at the meet tomorrow in which over 100 International Professional from 23 Nations will be taking business decisions after listening to expert talks in various fields by 75 speakers.

Chief Minister said that the state is concentrating on increasing its hold in attracting IT, Agro processing and 20 other key sectors. He said that special tasks force will be setup to monitor the flow of investments into their respective sectors and that each of the sectors have targets to be reached.

Speaking on Consultants, he said that even though their reports were of great use, the actual use will be leveraged only when they were implemented.

However, Congress and Communist parties felt that the meet was a waste and that the outcome was of small benefit to the state.

Singareni Collaries Employees Union thinks of strike again
Singareni Collaries Employees Union have decided to give a strike notice to the management on Monday after the Unions felt that Khoyagudem plant at Khammam will be given for a private company on lease. The Management said that the decision was taken for improvement of introduction.

Rally against WTO held in Hyderabad
A rally was held in Hyderabad against WTO and restrictions imposed on Iraq. Acharya Randhir Singh said that Hindu religious gurus were dividing the country with their ideologies. Traditional dances and red-colored flags filled the city air.

3 decoits killed in an encounter
3 decoits were killed in an encounter in Papireddypalli of Anantapur. The Police killed them when they tried to escape after stealing money from a petrol bunk.

Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu promised to discuss with the Center to see that the price of Kerosene and Cooking Gas will not be hiked again this year.
