Government begins listening to public on draft budget
Government began to take up constructive comments on its Draft Budget from various sections of the society in particularly from Lectures, Scientists who are actively taking part. Ministers and Social workers began discussions in majors areas of the state including Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Guntur.

4 people died and 20 others injured in the Kurnool-Guntur road when a Mini-Van hit a Lorry in Prakasam. The injured were admitted in the hospital.

Congress and CPM parties staged a protest in Tirupati to reduce the telephone charges.

Singareni Collieries discussions postponed for tomorrow
The Singareni strike continued for the 6th day with no Union members attending their duties. Various employee unions observed bundh in 4 districts including Warangal, Karimnagar and Adilabad. Meanwhile discussions were started in Kothagudem to solve the problem as soon as possible. Educational institutions and shops also supported the bundh. Meanwhile, last minute talks with the Union Members and the Management ended up postponing the talks for tomorrow.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi decided to stage a protest from 31st against the Government decision to privatize industries like Singareni Collieries. Speaking to the press, TRS President, Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao said that it is unfortunate to privatize the industries that are doing well.

Hyderabad team won over the Railways in the Ranji Cricket Match held at the Gymkhana Stadium in Hyderabad.

Minister Mr. B Dattatreya said that Multi Model Transport will be implemented soon in the state. He verified the various facilities in the railway station in Hyderabad.

A 3 day seminar on "Protection of Tribal lands" is started in Warangal today.
