Andhra Pradesh News for January 24, 2003
Singareni strike continues for the third day
The Singareni strike continued for the third day after casual discussions between the employees and the management. The discussions however were postponed to 27th of this month since Director and General Manager of Singareni Collieries didn't turn up to the discussions. The employees union alleged that the management is interested in prolonging the issue till the Chief Minister comes back from the international tour.

Minister Mr. K Subbarayudu requested the Singareni employees to protect the company by joining back their duties. He promised them that the problem can be solved through discussions.

Minister Mr. K Subbarayudu said that the Government cannot provide power supply for 24 hours in the next year unless nature helps it.
