Good prospectus for state in flower exports - says CM
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the State has good prospects for exporting flowers and horticulture related products. He inaugurated the 8th All India Nurserymen's Conference at Kadipulanka in East Godavari district. He said that the Government has asked for an assistance of Rs. 200 crores for encouraging drip irrigation in the state.

Indian Vice-President Mr. Bhairon Singh Shekawat took the darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara at Tirumala. Earlier he was warmly received by TTD officials.

Foundation stone for Coach Maintenance Complex at Visakhapatnam laid
Union Minister for State for Railways Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya said that Visakhapatnam Railway station will be converted to a Terminal complex. He laid the foundation stone for Coach Maintenance Complex. MP Sri MVVS Murthy, MLA K Haribabu and others were present at the program.

NTR's death anniversary observed
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu, members of the Cabinet, opposition party leaders and members, NTR supporters in large numbers paid homage to their beloved leader and film-star Sri. NT Rama Rao at the 8th death anniversary. CM distributed sewing machines to women at Shantinagar Leprosy Colony on the occasion.

Pirated CD's worth Rs. 1 Lakh recovered
As many as 650 pirated CDs of recent movies were recovered from two persons by Adilabad police. Superintendent of Police Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagawat said that the two used to run a video center and that the total cost of the CD's was over Rs. 1 lakh.

One women was killed and 17 were injured when an APSRTC bus was hit by a train at a level crossing at Vinukonda in Guntur. The accident occurred at 7:30am. The injured were admitted at Government General Hospital in Guntur.
