Infosys inaugurates its 7th development centre in Hyderabad
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurates the 7th Development Centre of Infosys in Hyderabad. CEO of Infosys, Mr. Narayana Murthy is present on the occasion.

Union Minister for Disinvestment Mr. Arun Shourie met Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu at the latter's residence today. Mr. Naidu explained the hi-tech projects carried out by the state and the current financial position of the state to Mr. Shourie. Mr. Shourie said that the disinvestment process became difficult in the country due to the dual role of political parties who first supported for this but later changed their word. He said that crores of rupees spent by various State Governments on unnecessary projects has to recovered.

The Minister, inaugurating the HiTex in Hyderabad, said that the projects that are taken up should be completed as soon as possible. He complemented Andhra Pradesh for its efforts to achieve standards that of Singapore. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that International Business will develop and bring many indirect benefits to the state. Various sectors like Tourism, Banking, Insurance, Tourism etc. will improve and thus generates employment in the state. He however felt that HiTex will bring Internationality to the city.

One person died in lockup at Mahabubnagar police station. The Police said that they were not responsible for the death.

Pradesh Congress Committee said that the Congress Party in Maharashtra has no similarity with its party in the state. He said that the conditions in Maharashtra are not there in Andhra Pradesh. He said that there are indifferences among the leaders of Congress in Maharashtra which are not there in Andhra Pradesh.

Minister for Labour Welfare Mr. Babu Mohan said that the 32nd National Games has increased enthusiasm among sportsmen and women and that the state Government is committed to encourage this in the state. He spoke at the conclusion day of 50th National Kabaddi Games at Guntur.
