CM promises more funds to fight drought
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Government will consider the present drought situation in the state for the allocation of funds in the upcoming budget. Speaking to the Press in Hyderabad, he said that taxes will be reduced and allocations will be increased. He said that the Government will verify the performance of various departments in the last year in the preparation of budget. Mr. Naidu felt that there is a risk of lowering of funds if if all of them are allocated for welfare programmes. He requested the opposition parties not to make the mid-day meal scheme a political issue.

Vacant posts in Railways to be filled soon - Dattatreya
Union Minister Mr. B. Dattatreya said that the vacant 45,000 posts in Railways will be filled soon. He said that they found that insufficient staff is the reason behind various rail accidents.

CM Inaugurates Veera Buses in Hyderabad
Chief Minister said that Metro Trains will soon to available in Hyderabad. He said so at the inauguration program of 'Veera' Buses in Hyderabad. He said that the Government is currently negotiating with the Central Government to start the work as soon as possible.

Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu took part in the Swami Vivekananda Birth Anniversary celebrations. Speaking on the National Youth Day, he called upon the youth to set aims and work to achieve it. Mr. B. Dattatreya said that Character Building is more important and called upon the youth to develop it.

HiTex Trade Centre to be inaugurated on 14th
The HiTex Trade Centre at Madhavpur in Hyderabad will be inaugurated on 14th of this month. This was stated by the Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu today. Speaking to the press, Mr. Naidu said that the Rs. 120 crores worth 'HiTex' can bring a lot of business activity to the state. He said that there will be all round development in the state once the 'HiTex' is set up. 7 International Exhibitions will begin on the inaugural day of the HiTex trade centre.

Silver Jubilee Function of 'Indra'
The Silver Jubilee function of the film 'Indra' is held today. Hero of the film Chiranjeevi, Heroine Aarti Agarwal, Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu took part in the event. Nearly 8 lakh fans of Chiranjeevi participated in the event which is held in Vijayawada.
