CM inaugurates Business-cum-Leisure Facilities at Hyderabad
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu was at the ground breaking ceremony of Business-cum-Leisure Facilities near Hitech city in Hyderabad. Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud and other personalities were present at the program.
The Rs. 300 Crores project is being promoted by Dubai-based EMAAR Properties and will be having a Business Hotel and a World class Golf courses suitable to conduct International level competitions. The Project is a value addition to Hyderabad to make it as an International Tourist Center.

Central Drought Review team meets CM
Government of Andhra Pradesh requested the Central Drought Review team that visited the State for 22 lakh tons of rice. The team met the Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu and discussed on various issues pertaining to this. The team will be giving its report to the Central Committee. CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy met the team and gave a request document.
Hyderabad Task Force recovered as many as 14,565 fake VCD's from Video Stores in Hyderabad. The total value of the VCD's is put at Rs. 15 Lakhs. Incharge Commissioner Mr. ML Kumavath said that three people who were responsible for this were arrested. The three were marketing the fake VCD's in Chennai and Mumbai.
Apollo Hospitals sets up Emergency Clinic at the Hyderabad International Airport
Apollo Hospitals has set up an Emergency Clinic at the Hyderabad International Airport. The Clinic has all the latest equipment to deal with emergency cases and will be available round the clock. An ambulance is also made available to provide mobility from the Airport to Hospital if required. Mr. Pratap Reddy of Apollo said that this is one of its kind in the country.
Visakhapatnam Crime Branch Police arrested 8 people who were involved in getting stolen vehicles which are not carrying Objection Certificate. The team of 16 people, 8 of them who were still absconding were doing this operation with the help of a person in RTA Office. Initial investigation revealed that as many as Rs. 50 lakh worth vehicles were sold till now.
School Teachers to get their salaries from Treasury
Minister for Education, Mr. Mandava Venkateswra Rao said that Teachers of Government schools will get their salaries from the Treasury. He said that this system is considered after getting reports that the payments of salaries were getting delayed. The Minister inaugurated computerized office of Progressive Teachers Union in Hyderabad today. He said that a web site will be launched for where salary details will be put online one week before. Minister also said that teachers will be given computer education to get themselves upgraded with latest technologies.
A fake naxal Mr. T Yedukondalu was arrested in Guntur. He demanded money to a tune of Rs. 5 Lakhs from a merchant. SP Mr. Ravi Shankar Ayyannar said that Yedukondalu's neighbors have reported this when they doubted at the luxurious spending and reported that to the police.
Minister Damacharla Anjaneyulu, Members of Legislative Assembly Mr. MV Maisoora Reddy and Sikhamani visited the Market yard in Kurnool to check irregularities taking place in the Marketing Yard.
2 people involved in various thefts were arrested in Vijayawada. The duo used to steal items when individuals used to reside in the house. They were also involved in killing a women in their process.
Mayor of Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Mrs. Rajana Ramani said that the Corporation will be coming with a positive budget of Rs. 8.9 Crores. She said that more importance is given to solve the water problem.
Adibhatla Narayana Das Aaradhanotsavams were held at Vizianagaram to mark of tribute to Sri Narayana Das who was the pioneer of Harikatha. MLA Sri Dadi Veerabhadra was present at the program.
Kumara Sambhavam was staged as a part of the Aaradhanotsavams.
