Singareni Collieries discussions were postponed for tomorrow
The Draft agreement between the Employee Unions and the Management brought discussions back to the beginning with both the groups not interested in changing their mood. This made the discussions to be postponed for tomorrow.

Drought team visits Medak and Nalgonda
The Central Drought Team came to the state to review the utilization of funds being given by the Center. They visited Medak and Nalgonda districts today and interacted with farmers and laborers in rural areas. Women in large numbers surrounded them with empty pots representing the drought situation in the areas. They also said that the promises of Chief Minister in regard to postponement of power bills to agricultural lands. Mr. PK Agarwal - a member of the team said that agricultural labourers were seeking work from . he said that the report will be submitted to the State and Central Governments.

BJP says it will stay for full term
Bharateeya Janatha Party President Mr. M Venkiah Naidu said that Government has to take decision as per the minds of the people in regard to the Ayodhya issue. He said that what ever the Supreme Court decides, all parties and sections of the people - religious groups in particular - should abide by it.
