Assembly discusses on Ayodhya developments
The Ayodhya issue has been discussed in the Assembly today. Mr. Owaisi introduced the issue in the assembly. The MIM and Congress parties said that the Telugu Desam Party has no clear stand on this issue. The BJP requested the speaker to allow them to discuss on this issue. Mr. Indrasena Reddy demanded the Government to clarify its stand in this issue.

Responding to this issue, Home Minister Mr. Devendar Goud said that their party has its base on Secularism and that their policy is clear. The TDP further iterated that the Supreme Court decision is final.

YSR asks Nellore to be named after Sri Potti Sriramulu
Leader of the Opposition, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy brought before the Assembly, a proposal for renaming Nellore district on the name of Sri Potti Sriramulu. He said that no his efforts for a separate Andhra state should be remembered.

The Congress and CPM parties requested the Government to construct the highway as proposed from Rajolu to Ongole.

The Government announced that it will use NABARD funds for the construction of BT Road from Chitoor.

Power Minister Mr. Kotthapalli Subbarayudu said that products that favour the environement will be used for power production.

The Government announced that a new website will be setup for artists who have photo identity cards.

The Government said that it is considering on the issue of adding the Lodho famiies to BC. Excise Minister Mr. Tammineni Sitaram said that an All-Party meet will be arranged on 6th and 7th of March to discuss on this issue.

Health Minister Dr. K Sivaprasada Rao said that appropriate steps were taken to crub fake doctors in the state. He said that more than 4000 fake doctors are present in state.

The Government decided to allocate the land worth Rs. 2 crores worth to Tirumala Tiruapti Devastanam. A Part of this land has being donated to people in the past.

The National Science Day has been observed in many parts of the state today. A Large number of students took part in the exhibition held at the Fisheries Technology Research Centre in Visakhapatnam.

A Blood donation camp has been inaugurated by the Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions in Guntur.

The Aided and Un-Aided Employees of Colleges held a protest and demanded their problems to be solved immediately.

Union Budget presented - Mixed feelings in state
The Union Budget was announced today in Parliament. Mixed feelings were felt in the State in regard to the budget. The Budget, announced by Union Finance Minister Mr. Yaswanth Singh today is believed to be more helpful to the common man. Central Government will now take loans and distribute them to states at lower interest rates.

RTC Staff and Workers Federation said today in Tirupati that they will go on for a state wide protest on March 11. They said that APSRTC was loosing over Rs. 8 crore due to allowing of illegal publich transport vehicles.

Tirupati Municipal Council met today though proceedings haven't gone much forward with clashes among members. Chairman of the Council promised that name boards will be installed in every ward for easy identification.

Chakrasnanam was held today at Tirupati today.

IRS P6 to be launched during September 2003
The IRS P6 will be launched in August-September of 2003. The Chairman of ISRO took part in the National Science day in Tirupati. He said that with IRS, India went to space research. He also said that the Remote Sensing data is bought by 20 countries world-wide.
