Assembly talks on World Cup
Assembly sessions aren't always amongst Government and Opposition party members shouting at each other. CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy suggested the assembly that 'Mr. Nadiu should be made the Chairman of BCCI so that he will import three players from Australia, England and Pakistan so that India can win the World Cup'. He said that the Government is 'importing players from other states' and that this is visible from the names such as Malhotras, Dwivedis, Dhawans and the like in the Medal winners from Andhra Pradesh.

Revenue Minister Sri P Ashok Gajapathi Raju, said in Assembly, that there will be no change in the implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT) from April 1.
