CM meets PM in New Delhi
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Mr. Atul Bihari Vajpey, LK Advani in New Delhi. Later in an announcement, CM said that they have discussed about financial matters.

Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud interacted with officials of Rangareddy at Collector office. He asked the authorities to identify areas where water supply is not available and see that alternatives are identified. He asked to take the help of private bore wells if required. He asked to arrange water for animal. He also asked for the implementation of Food for work program.

3 people died when a mini van fell off a 50 feet bridge at Nidamanur. The injured were admitted in hospital.

2 naxals belonging to the Praja Prathigatana group were killed in encounter near Kothagundem mandal of Waragal. A gun and grandee were recovered from them.

Rajahmundry Corporators go on study tour
Corporators from Rajahmundry, in similar lines to Ministers and MLA's, went on a Study tour to understand the way Government is functioning in Surat, Mumbai, Goa and other areas. The Corporators will return back on 23 February.

Guntur district Jt Collector Mr. Venkatesham said that citizens of the district will be given Voter Id cards in the near future. He spoke with Corporators in the district at a program held at Collector office. He said that Rs. 2 crores was spent on the Photo-Voter Id Card which can work as a Identity card that will be generated in just ½ hr time.

2 persons were murdered by their rivals in Cuddapah. They were attacked with bombs and knives when the two were going in a tractor.

Tirumala Express was stopped at Samarlakota as a protest against Governments decision not to stop the express in Kakinada. Union Minister Sri Dattatreya promised to see that a decision will be taken on the issue.

AIKS Meetings began in Kurnool today. Farmers who attended the meetings asked the Government to see that the pending projects were completed on time.
