TDP will bring new reforms in Indian Politics - says Naidu

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Leader and Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the country needs political reforms and that his party will be the first to bring about positive changes in the political environment. He said that the party will begin to take funds and subscriptions from the public in the form of cheques only and also tell them as to how the funds are used.

This way, he says that the party will bring about transparency in politics and asked all other parties to follow this method. He said that unwanted expenditure is being cut and asked other political parties.

Speaking on the elections in the state, Mr. Naidu said that 30 days is enough for finalization of the electoral rolls and stressed the need for conductions of elections without interfering with various public examinations. He stressed the need of the elections not to be linked with the SSC and other examinations and cause inconvenience. He said that the exams process could take 2 to 3 months. He said that the examination process will go till May and so asked for a prior date for the elections.

He said that it is not right that the opposition parties they are using the official machinery for the party use.

TDP Party President N Chandrababu Naidu said that the manifesto will be released shortly and that a committee will be constituted for doing this shortly. He spoke at the polit bureau meeting of the party which was attended by senior leaders of the party. He said that regional meetings at Visakhapatnam will be held on January 3 and at Warangal on January 7. The Vijayabheri program will be held in Hyderabad. Speaking to the press Ravula Chandrasekhar Rao said only those promises that can be put will be made.
