Dacoits loots Jewelry Shop and E-Seva Kendra
In two separate incidents dacoits looted more than Rs1.5 crores worth of jewelry in Abids the heart of the State Capital from Rajyalakshmi Jewellaries. According to police and physical witnesses, this incident occurred at 9.30pm while the proprietors Navin Chand and Mouli Ram have closed the shop and are verifying the days accounts.

In the operation nearly 8 persons were believed to have participated while four dacoits entered the premises behind the doors with three possessing revolvers and one holding a talwar. They took the proprietors and workers into their capture and looted the gold ornaments worth 25kgs and a cash of Rs.45 thousand filled them in bages and fled away from the scene. The Police Commissioner Mr.RP Singh told reporters.

In an another incident E Seva Kendra situated in Santoshnager, two persons with revolvers threatened the staff and fled away with Rs.1.6 lacs. The police are investigating the case.
