Junior Doctors intensifies agitation
Hyderbad
The agitating junior doctors have further intensified their agitation in a novel way. The 16 days old agitation with mass rast rakos in Vijayawada and Hyderabad and conducted rallies with blind folded. When a clash at Osmania Hospital's Superintendent nearly 132 junior doctors were arrested and later released. The parents of the doctors also participated. The Congress Party expressed its solidarity to the agitating doctors.
E TV 2 Channel from Dec 28
The E TV 2 is broadcasting programmes of its 2nd Telugu channel. The new Channel is dedicated to News and will be broadcasted 24 hours a day with a fresh news program aired on hourly basis. The new channel will be launched on December 28, 2003. In addition to news items, some entertainment programmes are also expected to be aired.
Changes in DSC Schedule
The so awaited teacher transfers expected before Pongal is likely to be postponed till April next. It is understood that the changes in the schedule is due to on coming elections. Reliable sources reveal that the last date for receiving applications due to end by January 15 has been postponed to end of February At present the students who are undergoing B.Ed and D.Ed are demanding for the opportunity.
Bramana Garjana in Hyderabad

The AP Bramana Seva Sangh in its first meeting at Hyderabad organized a meeting where Brahmins from nook and corner of the state attended and demanded the government should arrange hostels at Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Visakhpatnam. Community halls, scholarships for poor Brahmins, Commission for safeguard the assets of the temples, starting up of Veda schools are some of the demands.
