Heavy rains sweeping Coastal Andhra
Heavy rains along with winds are sweeping the Coastal Andhra as the Cyclone in the Bay of Bengal is fast approaching towards the coast. Over 36 are reported dead and many more are remaining homeless as the winds are sweeping the thatched huts in rural areas. The regional Metro Department at Visakhapatnam said that the will continue for about a week days time before it comes to normalcy. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to tour in the effected areas.
CBI grants bail to Sudhakar and Nagasri
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has finally granted bail to DIG A Sudhakar and Prosecutor Nagasri after hearing on 'Changed Circumstances'. The CBI Court has heard to the Defense Lawyer Kandala Srinivasa Rao. It may be recalled that the case was going on for over ten days.
Meet with Govt & Defense staff held
Home Minister Mr T Devendar Gowd, Secretary Mr. Mohan Kanda and Mr. Paranjit Singh presided at the meeting to sort out issues between the State Government and Defense forces at the Artillery Center in Hyderabad. The Defense staff were happy at the water pipe line construction.
