Junior Medicos goes on strike
The Junior Doctors in Medical Colleges and Hospitals in the state went on strike today. When Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu visited the Kurnool Government Hospital, they tried to stop him but the Police stopped them from doing so and arrested some of its leaders. Speaking later, Mr. Naidu said that it is unfair at the Junior Doctors to start strikes every now and then. He said that the Government has decided to give permission to more private colleges only to generate more Doctors for the state as many in the Girijan areas are still without doctors.

Medicos at the Osmania and Gandhi Hospitals in Hyderabad came out of their classes and staged a human ring outside the campus. Junior Doctors did not attend work at the Guntur Government Hospital. A similar situation prevailed at the King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam.

Kakinada in East Godavari is going to be the venue for the meetings of the All India Freedom Fighters that is going to being from tomorrow. Many freedom fighters from various parts of the country are already reaching the venue.
Congress Bus Yaatra enters Warangal
Warangal
The third day of the Bus Yaatra of the Congress Party in the Telangana faced hiccups as supporters of the Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) has blocked the bus from entering into Warangal. The Police interfered into the situation and lathi charged at the TRS supporters.

The Congress made it clear that it will be supporting for the development of the Telangana Region at the Janagama and Husnabad meetings and said that the lack of development of the region was because of the bad policies of the TDP Government.

Congress In-charge for the State Mr. Gulam Nabi Aazad said that the 'Telangana Forum' that was formed by some Congress leaders will not be recognized and that they have to face suspension if they cross the limits of the party.
