Plans drawn to make Bhadrachalam temple the best Pilgrimage
Badrachalam: August 4, 2003

Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Government is working out to make the temple of Bhadrachalam to be a great Pilgrimage center in the country. He said that Rs. 20 Crores will be allocated to begin the development works. The temple town, soon will be having facilities to accommodate 10,000 visitors - a number that is currently at 2,000. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam - the richest temple in the world currently has facility to accommodate 45,000 visitors.

CM said that the help from TTD would be sought to coup up with expenditure. TTD has already given Rs. 2 Crores towards this. The temple reported collections of Rs. 25 Lakhs few years also and last years figures were at an impressive Rs. 5.5 Crores. The target for this year is put at Rs. 7 Crores.
