Excise policy will be reviewed - says Chandrababu Naidu
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Government will review the existing Excise policy and make changes to it as necessary. He said that the Government has lifted the ban on liquor not to play with the lives of the people but to control mafias. He inaugurated a party program at the NTR Bhawan in Hyderabad. The program will discuss on "Intintiki Telugudesam" program besides on upcoming programs of the party and district reviews.

Mr. Naidu said that the Congress was attempting to stop funds from coming to the state. He said that the Government is not supporting any one involved in illicit liquor case in Guntur and that it will not support syndicates.

An inmate from the Cherlapalli Hitech jail in Hyderabad escaped. The news of his escape was out lately. The inmate is Narayana Reddy who belongs to Mahaboobnagar. Police began search operation for him.

Minister and TDP Member Mrs. Manikumari and TTD Chairman Mr. Chalapathi Rao said that the water problem for Visakhapatnam will be solved under the ages of TDP-led Government only. They spoke at a party meeting at Payakaraopet in Visakhapatnam. They asked the party activists to drive the Government programs to people.

Renowned speaker Shivaraj V Patil gave the IInd Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Lecture in Tirupati. He said that Mr. Gandhi has introduced the Indian Festival to imbibe culture and heritage of the country.

State Power policy discouraging Telangana farmer - says Chandrasekhar Rao
Telangana Rastra Samithi Leader K Chandrasekhara Rao said that the power policy and hike in electricity bills was one of the reasons that has discouraged the Telangana farmer. He spoke at a public meeting in Mahaboobnagar. He said the region was not developing in agriculture front due to this.

Supporters of AIDWA rallied in Visakhapatnam against belt shop. They demonstrated in the city with a special 'Babu brand brandy' and formed a circle at RTC Complex. They demanded that the Government should not give new permissions to any liquor shops. The effigy of Chandrababu Naidu was burnt.

4 Teachers associations formed a new United Forum to fight against polices that were against the teacher community. The forum met today in Hyderabad.
