CM opens welfare schemes and coal mines of Singareni Collaries
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu laid that foundation stones for various welfare projects of the Singareni Colleries at Bhupalapalli of Warangal and Kothagudem and Manugu in Khammam. He said that his reforms have put some people into problems but the society got better. He opened 3 new coal mines and schemes for quarters, water and a 50-bedded hospital. He thanked the employees for bringing the coal mines from losses back to profits and raising to giving bonus in a short period of time. He reminded that professional tax was waived for the coal employees first time in the country.

9 school children dies as school bus falls into agriculture well
9 school going children and the driver of the bus on which they were going to school died when the school bus fell into a big agricultural well in Desarajupalle in Karimnagar. The bus was carrying 34 students and belongs to Maata Memorial School. Break failure was cited as the reason for the accident. The locale got angry when the Fire Engine that came to the spot did not begin its operations till afternoon and that this was the reason for increased deaths. The fire personnel said that they were not trained in this type of operations.

Magisterial enquiry was ordered into the incident. Lack of Doctors and Hospital services in the area hindered from providing medical treatment to the remaining children. Minister Damodar Reddy immediately came to the spot

A group of Corporate Companies came forward to establish 10K Foundation in Hyderabad. The companies met at Sri Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Centre.

The CPM Party in Chitoor alleged that the TDP Party office construction was made in a Government owned area.
