Pawan Kalyan, Nagoor Babu, Allu Aravind arrested - released on bail later
Film Star Pawan Kalyan, Nagoor Babu and Producer Allu Aravind staged a protest infront of the Deccan Chronicle office at Secunderabad. Speaking to the reporters, Pawan Kalyan said that the Deccan Chronicle News Paper has published false news items that he has beaten Director of film 'Kushi' Surya and that he had clashes with Politician Paritala Ravi. The police arrested and later released them on bail.
Lorry transporters called off strike in AP
Lorry transporters called off their strike in Andhra Pradesh with Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu promising to look into the problems of transporters in the state. A meeting to this effect was held between representatives of the Transporters and the Government at Legislature. CM promised that a waiver or reduction of Panchayat-level taxes and toll taxes, putting harassments or corruptions on hold and other grievances will be looked after. He also said that plans to promote the industry will also be looked out. Mr. Gopala Naidu - representative of Andhra Pradesh Lorry Transporters Association said that they will be moving within the state but could not go out in view of on going strike. It may be recalled that Lorry Transporters have put their vehicles off the road for the last 9 days.
YSR is not looking at his own constituency - says Devendar Goud
Leader of Telugu Desam Party and Home Minister Mr. Devendar Goud said that Dr. YSR is not taking care of his Pulivendala constituency and is always worried at other drought hit areas. He spoke at the Rangareddy East Division Training program meeting. Goud said that TRS is luring people with promises that cannot be put in to practice.
MSR says Sonia Rath Yaatra to be after YSR's Paada Yaatra
PCC President Mr M Satyanarayana Rao suggested to conduct V Hanumantha Rao's Sonia Ratha Yatra after the completion of Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's on going Paada Yaatra. Hanumantha Rao said that he has completed his plans.
