Two naxals killed in an encounter

The Hyderabad District Secretary of People's War Group Mr. Nomula Raman Reddy and another naxal were killed in an encounter near Ramoji Film City in the outskirts of Ranga Reddy. An SI was injured in the operation. Mr. Ramana Reddy is believed to be the master in plot of killing former Home Minister Mr. Madhavara Reddy

Chandrababu Naidu celebrates his 55th birthday

Chief Minister and TDP Party Leader Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu celebrated his 55th birthday at his residence aswell as at NTR Trust Bhawan. Supporters of the TDP Party organized a blood donation camp. Food and Clothing were distributed to the needy. Earlier Governor Sri Surjit Singh Barnala and other Cabinet Ministers called upon CM and greeted him on the occasion.

AP Transco to come up with public-participation plans

CMD of AP Transco Rachel Chatterjee said that the Power Distribution Corporation will be launching a major initiative to create awareness among the public about power utility. The program is also believed to bring people's participation in implementation of several schemes as a part of improving customer services.

AS Rama Rao is dead

Noted Advocate and a freedom fighter Sri A S Rama Rao died at a private hospital in Vijayawada after a prolonged illness. He is 88. Sri Rama Rao is a former President of the Bezawada Bar Association.

Fake Inspector arrested

Visakhapatnam Rural Police arrested a person who used to collect money as a Vehicle Inspector in the outskirts of Anakapalle.
