The Hyderabad District Secretary of People's War Group Mr. Nomula Raman Reddy and another naxal were killed in an encounter near Ramoji Film City in the outskirts of Ranga Reddy. An SI was injured in the operation. Mr. Ramana Reddy is believed to be the master in plot of killing former Home Minister Mr. Madhavara Reddy

Chief Minister and TDP Party Leader Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu celebrated his 55th birthday at his residence aswell as at NTR Trust Bhawan. Supporters of the TDP Party organized a blood donation camp.
