ISI forms Muslim Defence Force

Director General of Police Mr. Pervaram Ramulu said that Pakisthani outfit ISI has formed a new group called Muslim Defence Force after Godhra incident. He said that this force is responsible for attacking select personalities. Meanwhile, Hyderabad police have arrested some of those who were involved in murder of Pandayan.

PCC meets to discuss on YSR's yaatra

Pradesh Congress Committee President Mr. M Satyanarayana Rao has called upon a meeting at Gandhi Bhawan to discuss about the success of CLP Leader Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy's visit to drought hit areas of the state. Members at the meet felt that Dr. YSR could not touch all areas and that this may discourage members in the region. To avoid this, PCC asked local members to rally in their areas and discuss about the problems in their region.

Vasavi Bank cuts its employees

Vasavi Bank management has decided to expel 127 employees stating cutting operational costs as the reason. The employees said that the management has done this as a process of closing the bank.

Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu distributed 376 acres land to people in Guntur. He also distributed vehicles to Naxlas who surrendered recently.
